Kids Pocket Letters

So I've been making a few Pocket Letters recently and both my kids (Miss 9 & Master 5) who both requested that I make one for them too. Here are the results of those requests.

Friendship Pocket

I joined in a card swap as part of Kit & Clowder. The theme was friendship. Instead of a card, I wanted to have a go at doing a 'Pocket Letter' with lots of goodies and this is what my project turned out like. This is the first Pocket Letter I've done, and I think I'm hooked!!!

Grateful Gloria

It's my time to host over at the Art by Miran Showcase Blog. Today I've created I wanted to go with the traditional colour scheme to complement the poinsettia flowers. I've matched this with some earthy tones of kraft and the textured burlap. I've finished it off with a sweet sentiment which matched this scene perfectly - "May you wrap Love, Joy & Peace around your heart and those you love this Christmas".

Geisha's & Kimono's

I've found a new love at the moment and that is Pocket Letters. This is the second one I've made now and love how fun these are to put together. They can be as detailed or as simple as you want. They are a great way to use up all of those things that we all have stashed away and never seem to get around to using or the freebie papers and cut outs from magazines.

Embossed Wedding

I had a play with some stamps and gold embossing powder to create this elegant but simple (almost) single layer wedding card. 


I stamped the Kaszazz Mannequin on the card front then fussy cut around it before layering some pleated ribbon for the skirt. I embossed the bodice on another piece of paper and embossed with a background stamp (unknown company) and fussy cut and layered over the ribbon. I embossed the inside of the card with some simple roses and finished it off with a row of pearls for a necklace and Kaszazz 'Celebrate' sentiment.
