Happy Anzac Day! For those of you not from Australia, April 25 was originally to honour the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who fought at Gallipoli in World War 1. Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance that now commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. Today is the 99th anniversary of Gallipoli campaign.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them.
Today I've prepared a quick clean and simple card using some of my standard dies for the Dies R Us inspirational blog. If you don't already know Dies R Us are starting a challenge blog! Please hop over to our brand new site which will commence on May 1.
Card ingredients include:
Stamps: Papersmooches 'Cutasaurus' stamp set, Kaszazz chevron background stamp
Distress Markers/Ink: Peeled Paint, Victorian Velvet, Pumice Stone, Scattered Straw, Dusty Concord, Walnut Stain, Antique Linen, Gathered Twigs, Vintage Photo
Paper: cardstock, kraft
Dies: Spellbinders Grand Circles, Spellbinders Label One
Other: Cuttlebug Dot Embossing folder, rhinestones, Wink of Stella
