Forever Friends

This week I've had the honor of being a Guest Designer for Scrapping 4 Fun Challenge and this is what I've created for them.

My Besties Sherri Baldy Image 693

Their challenge #20 this week is this gorgeous colour scheme. I loved this colour scheme & wanted to keep it 'in the garden' as such, hence all of the butterflies & fairy.

For the butterflies I dry embossed some Core'dination cardstock then sanded it to bring out the central colour. Here are a couple of close-ups of this little cutie & also of the cluster of embellishments too.

Card ingredients include:

Stamps: My Besties image 693, Kaszazz 'Friends' sentiment
Copics: Skin: E000  E00  E02  R20  R22
            Hair: Y21  Y15  Y26
            Wings/Clothes: Y15  Y19  G21  G94  G99  V06  V17  V09
            Background: B000  W3  W4
Papers: Karen Foster Design, Core'dination Vintage Collection, cardstock
Dies: Kaszazz Butterflies, Magnolia Doohickey Swirl & Doily Flowers, Spellbinders Standard Circle, Scallop Circles & Grand Label One
Other: Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, White Opal Liquid Pearls, Vintage Photo Distress Ink, Kindyglitz, pearls, Kaszazz Vintage brad, binding ribbon

Christmas Table Tree

I'd had this Kaiser Craft wooden tree for a while & finally decided to use it. I decorated it with cardstock from a Christmas Create Cardstock Foil & Glitter pack & sponged the edges with green paint. I then used lots of Christmas transfers from numerous brands like Kaszazz, Abi's Craft & Bella.

I wanted to be able to use this for years to come & have the ability to update the photos to the current year photo shoot I do with my kids. To overcome this, I used some tiny pegs I'd found at the local $2 shop & they worked a treat!

I finished it off with lots of gems & ribbons.

Thanks for dropping by & checking it out!

You're the best!

One of the challenge themes this week is 'your favourite Edwin or Tilda' image from Tilda's Town. Although I have MANY Edwin & Tilda stamps, my absolute favourite is definately Super Edwin. I'm also basing this card on Mojo Monday #319 sketch.

Magnolia Super Edwin

I used the Frencheville Primary Basics paper pack for all papers on the card & they were edged in Distress Ink Vintage Photo. Edwin was coloured with the following Copics: Hair: B32, C3, C7, C9 Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20 Costume: YG01, YG05, YG07, YR14, YR16, YR18, B12, B14, B18. The sentiments from Kaszazz Endearment mini-messages. The card was finished with a star button & a little kindyglitz.
