It's been a crappy, cold and rainy weekend. So to waste some time (refusing to allow my kidlets to watch any more tv than then already had) I brought them into the studio with me & got them crafting. My almost-7-year old daughter caught sight of my new Dream Catcher die & wanted to make something with it. I'd recently seen some shaker cards & knew that she'd love to have a play with the sequins etc. So with her eager help and her in charge with selecting papers/sequins etc we set about making this card together!
Card ingredients include:
Stamps: Kaszazz 'Wishing You' sentiments
Papers: Stripes (? stash) DCWV glitter stack, cardstock
Dies: Taylored Expressions Dream Catcher, XCut Rectangle Parenthesis #2
Other: ColorBox Blackbird, Platinum Pearl Liquid Pearls, sequins
The inside of the card utilised the center offcut from the shaker frame.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Creative Knockouts #44: Child's Play (my 6 year old daughter 'played' with my new dies & made this card)
Scrapbooker PhD #12: Add Texture (The sequins in the shaker add texture, as well as the liquid pearls on the dream catcher) (Top 5!)
