Lego Party

Today we celebrated my little Buddy's 6th birthday. I sent Mary Ellen from Free Dearie Dolls Digi Stamps an email a few days ago asking if she could possibly draw something special for my him in celebration of his love of Lego (as I couldn't find one elsewhere). She responded quickly and returned this super fun and perfect image for me! I was so very thankful for her artwork and my boy thinks it was awesome too!

Wedding Favour

Most people in the crafting world know of Alyce from Kit & Clowder. Over the weekend she married her Prince Charming Jon. I had the fortune of being in Brisbane that same weekend and managed to catch up with Alyce for a quick coffee where I was able to give her this wedding favour which my daughter & I made for her.

We tried something a little different and did some paper quilting. My daughter did all of the sewing! We punched out the squares from different coordinating papers and glued them onto a transparency sheet before sewing them. We then cut out some hearts and trimmed and decorated them. On Alyce's favour we included the Faery Ink Alyce Bridal Shower freebie which was part of the bridal shower that was celebrated on the Kit & Clowder Facebook page recently.

Goodbye Skitz

A dear family had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to their beloved cat of 16.5 years after his numerous health issues topped off with a broken leg. I quickly put this together for them as we had recently lost one of our cats so we knew what they were going through.
