Dad's Workbench

Its my fathers birthday next week and he always loves getting my cards so I wanted to do something very special and creative for him. This is what I put together. I had to go searching for the perfect image for the front and found this sweet image from Lili of the Valley. I left the front very clean and simple, because the surprise is on the inside (his very own foldout workbench!!)

Colouring Page Card

I saw this technique in a recent magazine and wanted to give it a go. Its very simple where you use a blank colouring page and sponge it with Distress Inks and add a tag with a die cut and stamp & there you have it! Simple, stylish & effective!

Goodbye Skitz

A dear family had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to their beloved cat of 16.5 years after his numerous health issues topped off with a broken leg. I quickly put this together for them as we had recently lost one of our cats so we knew what they were going through.

Because I have 3 wonderful men in my life (my hubby, my father & my father-in-law) I usually run low on time to create full detailed cards with coloured images for all of them. In Our Hearts

This week my beloved grandfather passed away peacefully in his sleep at the grand age of 96. I know I'm feeling heartbroken so I can only assume how my mother is feeling at the passing of her father. As a way of processing my grief I created this card for her.
